Finally, it’s ready !!,…after long nights discussions, how to proceed, we could finally finish the Snowbuggy for Eric and Arjen, for their Greenland Snowbuggy eXpedition !,….This week they are training and testing in Czech in the snow.
Check also the website www.snowbuggy.nl for more info. The guys will also sleep in the snow this week, just to eXperience the handling of the snowbuggy and their gear. during this photo session we also had the chance to test out our new carbonfiber back axle, which worked out great !

The story of Geoffroy and his new ” toy”,…

Apres quelques années de bons et loyaux services, j’ai décidé de me séparer de mon ancien buggy et m’offrir le top du top… le dernier buggy dans lequel je roulerais car aucun ne pourra le remplacer… un APEXX !!! Je veux découvrir une autre sensation de pilotage !

Après quelques échanges de mails et une fiche de mesure bien remplie, voilà la commande passée. On sent déjà le professionnalisme de l’équipe XXTREM : rien n’est laissé au hasard, la communication est parfaite, les réponses rapides et les conseils très avisés.

Quelques semaines plus tard, livraison de mon nouveau jouet par les mains mêmes de son concepteur !! Ouah ! Quel honneur !… Ruud prend tout le temps nécessaire pour me familiariser avec « mon» APEXX. Les possibilités de réglages sont impressionnantes et l’ensemble est ajusté au millimètre près ! Ruud est un passionné et ça se ressent tout de suite. C’est un régal de l’écouter parler de l’APEXX. Reste plus qu’à tester les réglages et trouver ceux qui me conviennent le mieux…

Je suis conquis dès les premiers tours de roues. Le comportement du buggy ne ressemble à aucun autre, il est très joueur tout en garantissant un sentiment de sécurité, quelque soit l’allure, il est toujours stable. Du coup je me prend au jeu et mes premières sessions avec l’APEXX se finissent toutes avec un large sourire !… Les manœuvres sont faciles et les trajectoires impressionnantes. La sensation de confort est très agréable, à tel point qu’on ne se rend pas compte de la vitesse !!…

Merci à Ozzy et Ruud pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité à tout moment.

Ciao mi chiamo jean, vivo in Sardegna, una delle isole maggiori Italiane.Pratico il kitebuggy dal 1994, dopo qualche buggy autocostruito, Peter lynn, Truck e Dragster della casa LIBRE, ho deciso di avere un buggy fatto su misura per me. Senza perdere tempo contatto Ozzy e Ruud della XXtreme, per un Apexx buggy. Rispondo alle tante domande per creare il mio buggy personale, Ozzy fissa la data per la consegna.

Finalmente arriva!! Tutto si fissa perfettamente, niente sbavature, niente forzature per fissare i dadi.Tutto saldato perfettamente!! waau Ruud!!!

La guida dell’Apexx è senza problemi, solido, comodo,niente fastidio nei piedi,come nel Dragster,la seduta è perfetta per il mio corpo,mi sento sicuro, velocissimo in bolina, nell’andatura di traverso al vento, tiene la traiettoria senza colpi di posteriore. La senzazione è “Io e l’Apexx, un corpo unico”. Tra tutti i buggy che si trovano in commercio, ho scelto XXtreme Apexx , perche Ruud e Ozzy sono 20 anni che costruiscono buggy, è lo sanno fare bene!!! Dunque la “differenza” di prezzo, è la differenza che c’è tra un Apexx XXtreme e tutti gli altri!!!!!!!

Hello my name is Jean, I live in Sardinia, one of the largest islands of Italy. Doing kitebuggy since 1994, after a homemade buggy, Peter Lynn, Truck and LIBRE Dragster of the house, I decided to have a custom made for me. Wasting no time to contact XXtreme Ozzy and Ruud, for a Apexx buggy. I answer many questions to create my personal buggy, Ozzy sets the date for delivery.
Finally it arrives! All fitted perfectly, no smears, no straining to hold the nuts. All welded perfectly! waau Ruud!
The guide is dell’Apexx smooth, solid, comfortable, no discomfort in the foot, as in the dragster, the seat is perfect for my body, I feel safe, fast upwind, of walking across the wind, keeps the trajectory no shots back. The feeling is “I and Apexx, one body.” Of all the buggy that are on the market, I chose XXtreme Apexx, because Ruud and Ozzy are 20 years built buggy, you know to do well! Thus the “difference” in price, is the difference between a Apexx XXtreme and all other !!!!!!!

Kite Area Backcountry (downhill) Cup 29/30 october

Wel, here are some fotos made by Rainer Keller and Ozzy, from our trip to Munsterappel in Germany,. Were our good friend Guntram from Kitearea invited us to come over for the Kite Area Buggy Backcountry Cup 2011. Wel,….backcountry it was, but no kite buggy backcountry, as there was not enough wind to do some race. Neverless we had lots of fun doing on sunday a Downhill event with our kite buggys !,…8 pilots participated, did 5 runs each, and the average highest speed was the winner of the day,…see pictures bellow,….beautiful place,…awesome people,…good vibes… Thanks again Guntram and all others we met this weekend ! until the next one !

1st place for Ozzy @ BCH Races 5/6 nov 2011

Our team pilot Jeroen ” Ozzy” Potters did a good job to win the 1st place overal for the race weekend on the Brouwersdam on the 5th and 6th November. these races are part of the Dutch competition. Team Pilot Arjen did a perfect 2nd place, Arjen is placed still as 1st in the overal competition, 2nd is Ozzy.
And also big thumbs up for all other winners !!

Wel done guys !!

Next stop,….19 /20 November @ Brouwersdam for the next race weekend !.

Headstock Upgrade Xxtreme Apexx

From now on we have a “Headstock Upgrade” available for the Xxtreme Apexx , this upgrade consists all the required parts as mentioned in the part list above, except of the down tube, 3D mudguard, bearings and frontfork. The way we designed it, is to isolate the 3D mudguard from the headstock assembly, which can come loose after a hard impact.

The only thing what you need to do, is to drill or machine the hole in the mudguard to a ø20 mm hole, so that part number 5 from the assembly can go thru. Followed by part 8 and 9.

If you are nearby our facility, we can do this for you. Check our website for a animated video, how the assembly works.

We proudly presenting the new European Champion Stephen Schapman and Vice-Champion Arjen van der Tol.
And on the 7th place Jeroen aka Ozzy. In the top 10, there were 6 Xxtreme buggys present.
By this we congratulate all pilots with their fantastic results, especially Stephen , who did his first race with his brand new Xxtreme Apexx.

Well done guys !! we are very proud of you all !!
